Eladio Carrión’s 'CORSA' debuts on Top Latin Albums

Latin trap sensation Eladio Carrión has once again proven his formidable chart power, securing his seventh top 10 entry on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart. His highly anticipated seventh studio album, CORSA, makes an impressive debut at No. 6 on the May 16-dated ranking.

Released on April 30 via Rimas Entertainment, the 15-track project garnered 12,000 equivalent album units in the United States during its initial tracking week from May 1-7. A significant portion of this success is attributed to streaming, with 12.1 million official on-demand streams contributing to the album’s strong first-week performance.

Eladio Carrión's Chart Dominance: A Deeper Dive

The consistent success of Eladio Carrión is undeniable, with CORSA marking not just a top 10 debut, but his seventh consecutive album to land within the upper echelons of the Top Latin Albums chart. This remarkable streak underscores his sustained relevance and growing influence within the Latin music landscape.

While CORSA's debut is strong, it follows in the footsteps of previous chart-toppers like Don Kbrn, which peaked at No. 3 in April 2025. His most dominant showing to date remains Sauce Boyz 2, which bowed at No. 2 in December 2021 and enjoyed an impressive 48 weeks on the chart, setting a high bar for longevity.

The album's reach extends beyond just the Top Latin Albums, demonstrating its broad appeal across genres and formats. CORSA also debuted at No. 138 on the all-genre Billboard 200, No. 4 on Latin Rhythm Albums, and No. 19 on the Independent Albums chart.

This multi-chart performance is a testament to Carrión's expanding fanbase and the strategic backing of Rimas Entertainment. The indie label, already boasting six titles on the latest Independent Albums ranking (including Bad Bunny and Omar Courtz), solidifies its position as a powerhouse in the industry.

Individual tracks from CORSA are also making waves, with four songs debuting on Hot Latin Songs. "Ricky Bobby" leads the pack at No. 24 with 1.5 million streams, followed by "Polaroid" at No. 25 – notably sampling Michael Sembello’s 1983 chart-topper “Maniac.” "Body" entered at No. 35, and "Daikoku" featuring Topboy TGR, at No. 37.

The album’s impact on Hot Latin Rhythm Songs is also significant, with "Impredecible," featuring Mora, debuting at No. 23. These multiple entries highlight the album's strong streaming engagement and its immediate resonance with listeners.
